Understanding Gazebo Dimensions
The drawings show the typical proportions of the Windermere gazebo and how the overall size relates to the usable space beneath the structure.
When preparing a base, we normally recommend it is at least 100mm larger than the gazebo footprint, with around 600mm of working space on all sides to allow for installation.
The base should also have a slight fall to allow water to drain away, helping prevent moisture sitting around the base of the posts.
If you're unsure about the correct base size or preparation, we're always happy to advise before installation.
A & B – Gazebo width and depth
C & D – Roof overhang (300mm each side / 600mm total)
E – Entrance corner to leg (usually 1m)
G – Diagonal entrance width (usually 1.4m)
F – Bannister height (usually 0.9m)
